Instructions
  1. In a large bowl, mix all of the ingredients until well mixed.
  2. Form mixture into balls. I made them about the size of a golf ball. You can make them larger or smaller, based on your preference.
  3. In a large skillet, over medium high heat, fry the meatballs until cooked. I like to add about 1/8 inch of red wine to the frying pan. As the meatballs are cooking the wine reduces and gives the meatballs a nice, flavorful crust. My wife and daughter think the wine taste is overpowering when I do this. Try it both ways and see which way you like.
Recipe Notes

This recipe makes 80 golf ball sized meatballs.  You can adjust the number of meatballs you want to make, and the recipe will automatically adjust the ingredient amounts.  I like my meatballs soft, which is why I used 2 cups of bread crumbs.  If you like your meatballs firm, reduce the amount of breadcrumbs and either leave out one egg or reduce the amount of wine you add.  You can print out this recipe, or any recipe on here, by clicking on the print button.  I hope you like them!
