Ingredients

Instructions
  1. Sift together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  2. Cream the butter and sugar.
  3. Add the egg and almond extract to butter and sugar and mix well.
  4. Blend into the flour mixture.
  5. Using a cookie press with the star fitting, make a straight cookie about 3 inches long on an ungreased cookie sheet. Continue until you use all of the cookie dough.
  6. Bake in a pre-heated 400 degree oven for 5-8 minutes. Let cool.
Chocolate
  1. Melt chocolate chips in microwave oven.
  2. Stir in butter until the chocolate is almost pouring consistency.
  3. Dip both ends of cookie in chocolate. Let cool on waxed paper.
